Today I met the giant from Jack and the beanstalk. We asked him lots of questions. It was fun, I asked him “What do you have for lunch and tea?” He said “Ox and sheep”.

A Day in 1st Grade at Atwood Primary
We are at school. We are in first grade. We had Morning Meeting, and then we learned a new song called, “Hello to All the Children in the World”. We made a book about doubles math facts. We did our own photography for the book. We read a great story together called, “You Can’t Read This Book” by Anna Westbrook. After lunch we are going to have Choice Time, then another story, and then we do our Challenges. We are reading stories about friendship! We have friends all over the world, but our very special friends are in Slovenia. We even blog with a teacher in Chile. We love you, Ms. Paterson!

Today i have already blogged a few hours ago when we were allowed to with our mobiles/ipods/ipads and i am know posting in ICT about how today has been really fun and i have really enjoyed it. Firstly we were allowed to bring in a mobile device so we could blog when we didn’t have a computer and our ICT lesson has been really fun because all we are doing is blogging and not doing any work 
. The only lessons today were Music and Maths because the teachers were really stressy and annoying because they kept getting angry and people were messing around but on the whole today has been an amazing day.

What We Did Today!
Today we are at school, we have been starting reseraching and jotting down about hens, chickens and their eggs because on Monday we are going to be doing our extended writing. It will be a persuasive argument about either free range or caged hens.

Our school
In our school we have computers and computer trolleys and in school we have 480 people. We have literacy books, math books, topic books and science books and instruments. Also we have assembly awards and we have ipod touches and every year we go on a trip with the whole year. In year 5 we go to France and we get homework every Mondays and Tuesdays. We have cake sales. They sell stationary stuff like rubbers, pencils, pencil sharpeners, pencil case, pens, and other things. We have rules and display boards. In year four we went to see the Lion King. We have clubs at lunchtime. We have desks under are tables and we also have seats. In year three we went to the Greek museum. We have white boards, we have white board pens and green pens. We have a big white board for the teacher. We have to take any book from school to read and we have P.E. We go to the library to get books for only take two and one we have sketch books. We have computer club and Lego club.

Day in the Life at Brookburn in Manchester!
Today we did P.E which was football skills then R.E which is about Christianity. In the afternoon we are making Eco posters as it is Eco week. My School Life in Virginia
Life here around this time of year is cold. Sometimes it even snows! Today’s a rainy day so everone has on their sneakers.What’s the weather like where you live?Anyway,the school year isn’t over yet, but kids are already excited for summer. It’s a good thing we get a week off in spring! In school, we have these tests at the end of the year called SOL (Standards Of Learning) tests in each subject to see how well we learned. It’s on everything we’ve learned since the 1st grade! In high school, if you fail an SOL, you’re not allowed to graduate or have to repeat the grade.Do you have tests like that where you live? Thankfully, I’m not in high school yet, but I will be in two years. The most annoying thing about school is that it starts at 7:30 and ends at 2:30. If you want to catch the bus to school, then you have to get up at 5:25 or earlier everyday. It’s kind of like going to work in the morning, but for seven hours with a 30 minute lunch break. We also have physical education (P.E)class everyday and have to wear these very unflattering uniforms or we get sent to ISA (In School Assitance), which is detention. Do have P.E where you live? Do you have to wear P.E. uniforms too? And that’s what school life is like in my neck of the woods!

My Day
Today In art my friends called Tommy and Adam were mixing loads of different colour paints. Adam got paint all over his ears and his work. It was really funny. Tommy and I started to wipe a table but the cloth had paint over it so we got the table messy but I cleaned it up. Tommy then got told off for wasting paint he is not aloud to paint anymore because of it. Adam then through a cloth and it just missed a massive pot of paint. He then got paint all down his jumper he wasn’t happy. So far February 29th has been awesome.

Today at East bergholt high school it is just an ordanary day. I have just had German. I found that very confusing and didnt know what was going on all the time. Now I am in ICT which is good as i learn loads of new computer skills every lesson. Next I have Foodtech which is ok whe we are cooking but is very boring when we arent cooking. Then I have PSHE which is very boring as we don’t learn much. Last is my favourite lesson PE. We are doing football in PE which I love and i support Ipswich Town and hate Norwich. AG Primary School 2072
I am working with my Key Stage 2 class in Devon on our project to design the future! We are currently designing what our world will look like in 2072, read for our Back to the Future exhibition, later this term. Our visitors will be able to travel from 1932 – 2072 – all in one day!
All the KS2 children are going to add to this blog throughout the day.

About me
I like to take part in playtime & goldentime, which means you can do anything inside & outside but you have to make sure you don’t make a mess!! When you are inside the class,your teacher will take out a big white box filled with lots of toys so you can play with them at goldentime and when you are outside, you can run around and play any games you like!!!

Our Day At School
School started out as a normal day. When we got to school we relized it was crazy hair day. It was crazy crazy crazy! Forget that lets talk about school! Today we worked on our indvisual goals and diagramed the word quaderlateral. Diagraming a word is brakeing a word up. It was very very fun. Speaking of fun we had fifteen more minutes of recess we call it HAWKS recess. We are in a combo class meaning we have third, forth and fifth but we are in fifth grade. also we have a ”CC” aka community center. also we have many people that have the same personality as us. we have really cool sometimes we can pick it!!!

It is a very old building, more than 100 years old. It has 3 floors and my classroom is all the way at the top, which means I have a lot of stairs to climb!

Stuff in General
Today I will be in school
(Bit of a shame really but never mind) I have ICT (which is why I am writing this after I have finished I will continue making my game)
Followed by drama. Knowing my class that should be quite entertaining if they can listen for more than 10 minutes.
After that I will try and cram some French into my head while listening to NoisyClassRoomFM (That’s not a radio station that is what the class is like)
Then I have PSHE, nothing much happening there.
Then we have lunch, I will do a lot of things at lunch, such as eating and umm, umm, did I mention eating???
Afterwards I will be in Geography, we are doing about globalisation, its quite n interesting subject and we have made a project on it to show to the class.
After that I will go home on the bus (Or my Jetpack). when I get home I will play video games on my computer.
Then I will get ready for scouts, we will be cooking curry from scratch, so that will be fun.
Then 15 minutes after we are supposed to have finished I will go home and go to sleep, safe in the knowledge that it is only 7 days to go until my Birthday. YAY!
In Conclusion I will be doing more a less nothing until 7 and then i will be cooking in a old wooden hut.

Well would you look at that, it’s the 29th!
I am currently sitting in ICT With the rather fabulous Chloe!! It’s the first lesson of the day (always the worst) And well.. I’m blogging! Yay! My friend has a birthday today which is rather unfortunate.. I don’t know if I’d be able to survive only having 1 birthday every four years! I am just working my way through the week.. as usual, next lesson i have German (errmm.. Yay?) Then I have history.. that deserves an actual Yay! Then PSHE which is always a laugh with the friends in my form and last but by no means least I have music! ‘Gotta love music! Tomorrow will be a good day as we have non-uniform and we get to dress up as any character from a book, my friends are rather boring though as they refuse to dress up, I for one am going to wear my super man T-shirt and maybe a cape if I can find one! Yes, I’m that awesome!

Ar scoil inniu (At school today)
This leap year marks our final year in Primary school. We are in 6th class (Age 11/12 yrs). This week in our school we are hosting ‘Literacy Week’. The emphasis throughout the school is on reading, writing and oral language skills. Our class are writing short stories for the senior infants class (Age 5/6 yrs).
Also this is Engineering week in Ireland and as part of that we are visiting Honeywell engineering in Waterford city tomorrow. They design and manufacture boosters for car engines.
Today we are taking part in a ‘Sticks & Stones’ anti-bullying drama workshop.
Our interests outside school include hurling, soccer, rugby, tennis and athletics. Some of us also like gaming, going to the cinema and watching TV. Our favourite programmes are South Park, Family Guy and Mrs. Browns Boys.
Our favourite music is Coldplay, Eminem, The Rubberbandits, Rizzle kicks, Flo Rida and Bob Marley.
Our favourite teams are Waterford hurlers, Munster rugby, Irish rugby team, Man Utd., Liverpool, Chelsea, and Tottenham.
We are in Miss Aylward’s 6th class and in September 2012 we are starting in De La Salle secondary school.
Is áit álainn é Port Láirge. Tabhair cuairt orainn! (Waterford is a beautiful place. Come visit us!)

Long day
It was a long day at school because we spent a lot of time to do it all. There not enough hours in a day to spend it by drawing and making “get well soon cards” instead of doing you’re work like you’re meant to be doing.Not messing about with other things what you’re meant to be playing about with and some of us did tests yesterday and some did it today and so were not here yesterday so they had to do it today and the other that had not finished had to do it today. The teacher that was doing the tests yesterday was Miss Hammond and the one that was doing it today was Mrs Yendall and they both shout. Today in assembly Mrs Yendall told all of the children about this fight at a school down south and there was two 16 year olds and one of the boys got killed by a cricket ball and the other boy got sent to prison for killing a teenager and there are two families upset why there child has not come home one family is upset that there child is dead and the other family is upset that there child has been sent to prison.

What i did at school today!!!!
Today for my first lesson i had Geography. We have been learning about flooding. Next i had Science we are doing forces. We watched a couple of video’s. Then it was break. After that History The Black Death. Then P.S.H.E. We are doing fellings. Lunch YES. Lastly we are doing ICT and we are making video.

Just another Wednesday…
This morning we went to French with Mrs Macdonald and watched a programme called Le Club. We learned how to say horse, hair, love & like in French. Our teacher had P2/3 at that time and they played Just Dance on the Wii. When we went back to our class, we finished off some tessellations then looked at the work of M C Esher. He made some funky impossible pictures and some tessellations where animals and people collide.
After playtime, we had gym and we did circuits. There were lots of different stations like the climbing frame, skipping, shooting and jumping over a high rope. It was terrific and exhausting. When we came back to class we looked at this blog and left a few comments.
This afternoon we are going to make Nessie models. Our topic at the moment is Myths and Legends so we are learning about Scottish mythical creatures. After school some people will go to Homework Club and some people will go to netball club.

I have never writen on what ever this is, all my teacher told me to do was tell people what I did. So I went on relevation natrul art and did a challage sheet (It was sort of hard but that’s school for you) but as much as I don’t find school exciting ,I know If I did not go I would be as intelegent as your averge chimpanze ,but we are related to chimpanze’s so I can’t call them well stupid. In maths I worked in a three to do a question and when it came to show how we did it Harry kept fiddling with the board and on the way to school nothing atual happened and did I spell atual right? Any way I walked with Tobby my best friend he is really funny.

At School…
Hi everyone!
My name is Lucy and I’m at school today. My favourite days of the week are Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday because we do a lot of Writing, and I actually don’t know why I like Wednesday. I do Speech and Drama on Wednesdays too. In Australia, February 29 is on a Wednesday. I’m quite excited about doing Drama on a day that only comes every four years! I’ll be 15 next time I have a leap year, and my 6 year old brother will be 10. As for me, all I want today to be is a good day at school (I probably will, because I have Lasagna for lunch) and after that, some quality time with my family. I hope all of the other people in the world are finding the time to have time with someone special to them, just as I hope I will tonight. Happy February 29th!
