I have just got back from a long tiring day at school. At school my fave subject are English, all I’ve ever wanted to be is an author. My hopes are that when I have finally finished my first book I am now writing, I’ll see it on a shelf in a book store. Probably it won’t be but still. Can you believe this our school owns chickens! Called Muffin, Captain Flappers,Matilda,Mischief, Lady Gaga, Ginger and Rihanna. Let me know your fave name of our chickens by commenting.

My Day
Hi! Today I am at school and we have been looking at victorian houses and making puzzles for world book day tomorrow! I have been working with my friend Millie who is not in my class and I do not normally work with which was great! Tonight I am going to brownies and I am ‘sixer’ a bit like head brownie. I go to Carlton Minniot Brownies which is 90 years old this year! We are going to be making a giant bumble bee with a baby bonnet as on Saturday we are taking part in a concert in front of 200 people and singing a song called ‘I caught a little baby bumble bee’ I am doing it with my sister and her friends Lily and Megan (maybe Anya and Anna) it will be great and there is going to cakes and fireworks!

Learning platform
In ST.EDMUNDS school, we have a site called klp where you can do your homework. You can also talk to all your friends and draw picture to each other. We started using it in year 5(1 year ago) and we have still been using it and also we can talk to our teacher on it. And if you don’t know what to do on homework then you can on it and look and they even have games (maths and literacy) of course but it’s a really cool site. We have because it’s really socialising and you can talk to other people from the school and its really safe because if someone knows your password then you can just change it and there’s a bit where you can make your cartoon you and you can change your status it’s a bit like face book but much safer and its really good and fun.

ski trip
Last week I went to Timberline West Virginia and went skiing. It was a lot of fun, I got to go with a few of my friends in 6th grade. On the last day of skiing we went down two black diamond and it was really fun. They also had a pool table and a air hockey. I was really sad when we had to leave. But I knew that we were going to go back next year.

My day at school
This morning at school we were writing our own version of a book we read in class called Red Fever and we just did setting the seen and we will do our build up next week. Then we went out for break and when we came back we had to do this, i think that it is alright it is not my favourite thing to do in school. Later on after lunch we are doing pe and then topic work we are learning about william wallace and robert the bruce.

Hours of Fun
I have used the extra day to learn more about the internet, in particular ecommerce packages and web hosting. My mind is in a whirl, its an area I have little to no knowledge in! I have spent quite a few hours on the lap top, but no time wasted as I have used the extra day woohoo!

My friends 10th (40th) birthday today
Today I celebrated my friends 10th Birthday with her. Being 29th February she doesn’t get one very often, so it was special. I made my trout and prawns encroute (lovely Good Housekeeping recipe that always amazes but is truly a breeze to create). I met old friends and new, including a wonderful retired lady who was a complete mine of information on everything to do with hearing loss as she worked for many years as a teacher of the deaf. Drove very slowly home so I had a little longer chatting with my very dear friend, before she had to drive a little more speedily to rejoin her family of 6. Next week I begin work, so this was a special moment in the year.
