I’m sitting here watching England play Hollad (England have just scored) and just flicking through some of these posts. Even now I’m still amazed at the impact this extremely simple idea has had on not only the pupils and staff at my school but the pupils and staff across the world.
All day today we’ve had pupils and staff posting blogs on here, replying to posts by other people and generally talking excitedly about what to blog, even lunch time saw a slew of pupils and staff just coming to ICT, who wouldn’t normally visit us, just to take part in this event.
I think everywhere I went in school today I came across somebody on this website leaving their footprint (if your interested England have just equalised). I’ve filmed some sections of the school (PSE, ICT, Business, Humanities, MFL and the Sixth Formers) and hopefully with have something to show in the next day or so (hang on, Holland have just scored a third).
Just thought I would finish this little bit with a huge thank you to those who have been involved in planning, preparing, promoting this event and and allowing all teachers and pupils to be involved, I’m sure it has been a massive success around the globe.
Blogging for a real audience really does inspire everybody!
