I wish the year was longer
I wish the year was longer
I would become stronger
I would win a race
And see into space
I wish the year was longer
I could happily shout “WONGA!”
Become as famous as a pig
Wearing a wig
I wish the year had fewer days
Especially in Mays
So then Christmas would come quicker
Like a candle flicker
I wish the year had fewer days
In a number of different ways
I could save a life
And find a new wife

Windsurfing
WINDSURFING
Multi coloured sails scatter the horizon,
What a sight to set your eyes on,
Surfing through the endless chop,
Never turn, never stop.
All around them, vast green sea,
Every time I shout with glee,
On that day with skies so blue,
To be honest, we flew.
Just as the sky starts to turn ginger,
All the windsurfers tend to linger,
On the beach watching the sun,
Until the light of the day has gone.
They go out whatever the weather,
They don’t treat it like a tether,
Waves so small to waves so tall,
They go out in them all.
You must make sure you’ve got the right rig,
Especially, it mustn’t be too big,
But then again not to small,
Or you’ll have a nasty fall.
But there’s a problem very clear,
The land is getting very near,
In to the rocks with a great big crash,
The water swallows him with a splash.
You can windsurf indoors and all,
They do it in a big pool,
No matter the make, Starboard, Boardwise,
They’re all still windsurfers whatever shape or size.

Earth
The earth is round
Like a pound
The planet will twist
The centre like a fist
A molten lava core
Uncharted: never seen before
Many mortals roam the land
Some afford to be spray-tanned!
We need food, a bit of meat
A butcher’s knife a cow will meet
Water, a very precious thing
Also usable for swimming
Humans live in apartment or house
Under the floorboards, sometimes a mouse!
People sleep in their own bedrooms
In a kitchen they cook and consume

Namche Bazaar
The mighty beast looms over
The minute village of Namche bazaar,
Completely consumed in the shade from
The dark monster.
Yaks roam the streets
Chewing grass from the roadside.
Rickshaws deliver people to their
Destination in the village,
While the passengers gaze at the,
Almighty beast.
Sherpa’s tell stories of their
Adventures on the supreme beast,
The villagers listening with shocked expressions
On their faces.
The wind howls round the bend,
Echoing into the distance,
Carrying voices with it.
It rattles tin roofs
Causing a claps of thunder,
Deafening nearby villagers,
Forcing them to cover their ears.
In the summer,
Water gushes down the beast’s body,
Formed by melting snow.
It swishes into the village
Leaving puddles on the roadside.
Occasionally rocks tumble down
The beasts belly landing on cobbled roads
Demolishing its surface.

It gives a stern look and beams happily away.
Today is a day which is a valuable and

do you remember what day it is today?
obviously its the 29th of Feb you’ve already forgot
How can anyone forget this day its the day which
comes only when its a leap year a year that is filled
with happiness and joy. Its were the day starts
wonderfully and ends the same way.
Every time its a leap year people think of it as a
day of celebration which you will only get the chance
to see every 4 years so why not spend this time and day
very carefully and hopefully you’ll look forward for this day in

Not very often,
For February is shy,
The 29th comes out as says a cheey “Hi!”
The flowers grow brighter,
And snowdrops bloom,
29 always arrives with a BOOM!
It lights up the planet,
Plants and animals alike,
Ridng around invisibly on an invisible bike.
Cheering the woman,
And strenthening the men,
