These are the 29 differences between German and English schools:
1. German schools do not wear uniform and most English schools do.
2. German schools finsh at lunch time but have to come to school on saturday and English schools finsh after 3:00am.
3. German schools have a classroom just for there class and in England it the teachers class they attend.
4. In Germany they have a three tier system and in England they only have two schools you must attend.
5. In Germany you can finsh school when you are 16 and in England you have to finsh school when you are 18.
6. In Germany there are not that many private schools and in England there are many private schools that pupils can attend.
7. German pupils have to go to school eariler and in England there lessons start at 9:00am.
8. German children get a lot of homework and in England the pupils don’t get that many.
9. In Germany if they have low grades they have to repeat a year and in England they don’t.
10. In Germany they are tested a lot regulary and In England they are tested a lot but not that much.
11. In Germany there exam papers are marks in number and in England they are marked in letters.
12. In Germany they don’t have sports team and in England we do have a lot of sport teams.
13. In Germany they still have grammer schools and in England we don’t.
14. In Germany teachers have to teach two subjects and in England it depends on what the school wants.
15. In Germany if you are really clever you can go up a year and in England you can’t.
16. In Germany boys and girls do P.E togerther and in England they do P.E separate.
17. In Germany they take all there things home and in England they leave their stuff in the classroom.
18. In Germany you have lockers and in England they don’t.
19. In Germany the lessons are only 45 minutes and in England the lessons are 50 minutes and some are an hour.
20. In Germany they start to learn English from year 1 and in England they start learning languages from year 6 or year 7.
21. German schools don’t have there own website and in England they have there own website that they can go on.
22. German schools don’t have health and social care and in England we do.
23. German schools don’t have bussiness and in England we have a lot of work related to it.
24. In Germany they have science as three different subject and in England it is one subject till you do to year 9.
25. In Germany they don’t have religous schools and in England there are some.
26. In Germany they have politics as a subject and in England we don’t.
27. In Germany they have a day of for the Karnival and in England we don’t but do for other things.
28. In Germany they don’t have leasure and tourism and in England we do.
29. In Germany they have alternative schools called a waldorschule and in England we don’t.
