I have spent the last few weeks in dread of the arrival of this day, 29th February, 2012. At the age of 37, I have been to have my first ever filling at the dentist’s this afternoon. My dad tells me that I must have inherited his hard enamel……..
The numbness has now worn off, I’ve eaten my next meal (sumptuously soft shepherds pie, just to be on the safe side) and I’m about to brave having a (not too hot) cup of tea.
