Leap Year
Oh dear! I forgot it’s a leap year! My friends birthday is on a leap year so today he four years old. ”I’ve got to get ready for school.” Quickly, I got changed for school. After I got changed I darted out of the house excited to meet my kind friend. I arrived at school. Just then, I charged onto the playground looking directly at my friend. Slowly, I walked towards him shouting “Happy Birthday!”Then he replied “Thank you you were the first person to say happy birthday to me.” After I said happy birthday my friend lended me an enormous present. In return, I gave him a big present back.

Dorchester couty museum.
On thursday 23rd of february the whole class went to Dorchester couty mumseum. I came with my mum and the others came on the coach. When we got there we saw a Ladie called Jakie and she explained the rules. We had 3 activities,my favourite activitie was making little ammonnites! Finally we walked a long way and saw a triceratops. Finally we rached the play park. I liked playing it with my freinds.

Hi Im Violet. I am super amazing and I love dancing. At this very moment I am on the ‘riomhaire’ (computer) next to bff Becky, and bff Carmen who is in Kindle mode ( shes reading The Hunger Games, on de Kindle, I really want one, and I reeeally wanna read them 2. She is on chapter 4, on the part where Katniss is telling about when she found Katniss plants in a pond). Speaking of reading, I love reading, and, like I said, dancing. i do three dancings a week, one with Beca, one with Carmen, and one by myself. Hiya, I’m Phoebe. I am 12 years old! I am in primary school, but in September I’m going into secondary school! I do irish dancing, and have won lots of medals and trophys.I have about 5 Irish dancing dresses, not to brag or anything! I have a little sister, Pippa, who just turned four, and my Mum just had another baby, called Primrose, two weeks old, but we call her Prim for short! (unusaul but pretty!!) I chose it. Mum said I could. And I have an older brothes Mathew too.He’s 15. He’s actually ok for a brother! I’m making my confirmation on Saturday 3rd March. It’s quite early…. kinda! I love dancing, reading, music, tv ,my laptop, yellow, Tracy Beaker Returns and my pets. I have a puppy,mini.We found her at the side of the road. She is sooooooooo small,she’s a cross between a yorkie and a Shih Tzu. We also have fish, a hamster (hamlet!) and a kitten. We found the kitten too and she was almost DEAD!!! We called her Saphire. 100 Word Challenge
Hi I am a pupil from Miriam Lord in Bradford. I have entered a 100 Word Challenge to do with the leap year.
I knew it was a special day because it was my birthday.Excitment was written all over me.My mum booked me a fun play centre and invited so many people.Then something hit me and I said out loud “Oh dear I forgot it was a leap year”.Oh no I thought it was my birthday.My birthday is not for another two years.I got my hopes up for nothing.At least my mum didnt invite alot of friends because so many would have shown up.And it will all end up in dissapointment!I was fuming!My mother and father knew how ecstatic I was but no worries.Any way you dont always get what you want.

I am a pupil at Miriam Lord in Bradford.
It was my birthday and I was over the moon. The shock of excitement ran down my body almost making me to jump up. I sprinted down the long spiral stairs and opened the door. There it was a stretched limo waiting to drive me to the grand hall. I was just thinking of what a wonderful birthday I would have. Opening my presents, having a laugh and most of all having all the attention revolving around me. I opened the door and stepped onto the red carpet. It was rolled all the way to the glass door. I went through the door and found there was no presents. Oh dear…I forgot it was a leap year.

Today we went on a school trip at Hay’s Galleria, we took our sketch books. When we were walking i was Somijjah’s partner. When we got there we started sketching half way through we had our snacks and drink. When we had finished some of us took pictures. After that we got back on the train and went back to school. Our Day
Awesome day for Year 2/3 C here in Aus. We are working on our persuasive writing skills and we learnt how to make a movie, add music to it and save it all in ICT today. We have had so much rain here in Australian recently that we can’t always go outside and play! Luckily we haven’t had floods like some parts of Australia. Hope every one has a great day.
