Out of about 600 pupils, two people in my school have their birthday on the 29th February! Isn’t that cool? But it would be a bit annoying because you could only properly celebrate on your actual birthday every four years!

Babysitting
My daughter is 7 months old today and we are spending the morning playing. We may play for a while on the iPad (she loves Pocket Pond), or simply use a wooden spoon to hit plastic cups. I’m very excited to see what the future brings in terms of technology, as it has already changed vastly since my childhood. She will have amazing opportunities to connect with other people around the world, like all of us here. (But I still hope she prefers making dens in the park and splashing around in puddles).
