Today I’ll continue to reach out to people in Chicago and the world to share ideas from the Tutor/Mentor Institute, LLC library and to learn new ideas from the world. The information I collect shows what adults who don’t live in high poverty could be doing to help k-12 youth living in inner city neighborhoods have greater access to learning, mentoring, enrichment programs that help them succeed in school and in life. Life in Tuvalu
In Tuvalu, the lifestyle is really cool. We fly around in Solar Powered JetPacks, and can teleport to anywhere in the world. We have no blonde people in Tuvalu, because they are all so dumb! This makes us rather unique, some call it special. We all have microchip implants here, so we can communicate wirelessly. At the moment, I am posting using my hand as a keyboard. LOOOOL

getting a puppy
Have just taken grandchildren to school. Came home and told my daughter to go ahead and say that I will have small black whippet puppy, a friend for her dog. Her dog is called Dobby so I’m looking for a suitable name connected to Harry Potter.Any ideas? I thought of Dumble or Sirius, my son suggested Hagrid but I don’t think that suits a little whippet.

Hello my chosen few
Today i would like to adress 29 interresting ideas i have had…
1) create a wheel the is propelled by magnitism, this would created by having a north rod near the wheel bay that could send a powerful magnetic pulse, then have small 5 star rotor sticking out from the wheel each pin of the rotor an be turned into an electromagnet, by changing power throughout each of the pins one could easily create a powerful propulsion and an equally powerful brake.
2) sterilization of criminals…thats just self explanatory
3)turn the homeless into farmers, it would give them work and ensure food would be plentiful this is over course over seen by the government and it is then given to poor in africa in exchange for more farmers.
4) add cherries to everything!
5( break down all complex government into its simple mission statements. if a government is in the business to control the people then do so plainly and make them understand or get out.
6( self educate myself to be psychic..hey it could happen.
7(redistribute the hours of the day so we need not have a leap day…its foolish.
8(give out frogs on leap day
9(give children guns…now before we get all hot and bothered lets remember all the school shootings….one kid with a gun can kill 30 kids with guns. if he can we should probably recruit him for something. and if the child misbehaves then his gun is taken away and hes the odd man out…i bet every kid would think and rethink their actions.

Recovering and Reflecting
Managed to wash my hair and shower without becoming too exhausted. I’m reading my Kindle, relaxing under orders from Clive who has taken over my role as chief cook and bottle washer. Hospital at the weekend was unexpected and frightening..hoping the next few days will allow me to recover a bit more and gain strength. The dog is mooning around worrying I think, I usually play ‘mindless repetative boy games’ with him involving various toys and balls. Have not got the energy back…yet:-)
Its warmer today and the sun is trying to shine, always a good sign.

OAP and the web
As an Old Aged Pensioner (which is now not a politically correct term!)I make some use of the web. The main purpose for me is four fold:
I am house bound and since I can not get out to shop, I use the web to order my weekly groceries on-line for delivery from one of the local supermarkets.
My other main use is to keep in touch with my family, especially my son, who lives in America and travels around the world. In the last twelve months he has been to India, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Singapore and England. We often exchange e-mails. He sends me photographs of interesting sites that he visits and often drops me a line while he is sitting in an airport waiting to board a plane. I down-load Google Earth maps and street views to see where he is visiting.
Again, since I can not go to the local library, I use the web and a search
engine to find information that I need.
Until a few years ago I operated an amateur radio station from my home and could talk with other radio amateurs in many parts of the world. I have had to discontinue that activity, but I can still be in touch with the world via the web.

I am going to write about the 29 important people/things in my life.
-The first person is my mum. she’s been there for me when no-one else has. I know I don’t tell her often that I love her but it doesn’t mean I don’t.
-The second person is my sister. erm, I always argue and fight with her but at the end of the day, if anyone else touched her, they’d be dead.
- My nan. she’s really sweet and makes the best food. erm yeah.
-My grandad. I love the fact that whenever he see’s me, he always gives me money. Sometimes he still thinks I’m 11.
- My aunties are really important to me as well. sometimes when I can talk about something with my mum, I can always go to them.
-My uncles: They’re really protective of me.
–My cousins are annoying sometimes but I still love them all.
-Farzana, she can be an idiot sometimes but I know I can always talk to her. sometimes we have the weirdest conversations and sometimes we behave strangely but for us, none of it is strange or weird. Yeah, she’s my best friend.
-Loulou and Abi- I put them together cuz none comes before one another. they’re both really good mates and I can trust them.
-Afshah cracks me up all the time. Someone who makes me laugh is important to me.
–Jess because she keeps me laugh in english and I can always talk to her. We relate alot and she is an AMAZING imitater.
-Georgia because she always knows the lastest gossip on the street and she makes me laugh
-Jasmine: she told me too put her so i don’t want to get beaten up do i?
-The Lollipop lady because she helps me cross the road and if it wasn’t for her I would hava had got run over by a van.
-The teachers at my school because without them I wouldn’t know as much as I know now.
-The TA’S at my school because when the teachers ask us to work in silence, I can always call a TA and ask her for an answer.
-Twitter: without twitter I would be bored to death and would have no-where to rant.
-My laptop because without my laptop I Wouldn’t be able to go on twitter
- My ipod because if my laptop broke down, I could go on my Ipod to go on twitter.
-Music; I can listen to music whichever mood I’m in.
-chocolate: chocolate makes me feel better.
-Tv because it entertains me when I’m bored.
-My bed: It’s the cosiest place in the entire world.
-the internet: without it I would not be able to do much at all.
-god because without god I would not be anything.
-Food and drinks because without food and drinks, I would be dead.
