Today is a very special day. This day is a once in a 4 year time. So it is almost confusing and such. Today has just been a regular day. Or so it had seemed. Leap Day
Today is a day that only comes once every four years. Last time I had a Leap Day, I was in 3rd grade! Today we are not going to do anything extra special. I’m at school right now in Wisconsin, USA. I’m in 7th grade, and I study Religion, Math, Social Studies, Reading, Spanish, English, and Science. It wasn’t until Julius Caesar came to power that people observed a 355 day calendar, with an extra 22 day month. This was a problem because it caused the feast days to fall under different seasons. Caesar ordered his astronomer, Sosigenes to simplify things. Soseignes then made a 365 day year, with an extra day every 4 years. Thus, February 29th was born.

PLAYING STREET SOCCER
I have been playing outside lately and it was fun.I was playing street soccer it’s really fun but the thing that is really cool is that there is no rules. There is only outs and scoring goals. But the things you can do when you play you can hit each other, push, kick each other, and you can pretty much do anything it is really fun. You should try it.

My Ideas on Leap Years :)
In my opinion leap years are very cool. I think that it is interesting how the calender has one more day added on to it every four years. I also think that having your birthday on this day would be very hard because you would only have a birthday every four years. Today is just going to be another regular day for me. I won’t be doing anything very important. My family has never done anything for the leap year and probably never will. I think that having a leap year is cool and interesting but that it doesen’t really effect what I do on Febuary 29th.

Today I am at school doing math. I think that leap year is awkward. I understand the science of why it happens but I just find it odd. I have a Schwans man who was born on a leap year. He is the coolest guy ever. On the leap year I like to play leap frog. The name leap year is kind of false. February 29
Today, is just like any other normal day. I wake up in the morning at 7:00 am, get dressed and ready for school. At 8:25- 8:30 school starts. Let me tell you about my school day, first and second period there is LAL. Then there is Math, then my worst subject Science. Then comes lunch, after there is Social Studies and then Gym. At the 2:55 is when finally school is over. After school I go home eat then i do my homework, take a shower, watch tv and go on the computer.Except today is pretty bad day, I have to go to the dentist which I personally hate. Other then that its a pretty normal day nothing special. Then at 7:30 I have dance, which is only sometimes on Wednesday’s. In the end I eat again, then watch tv untill i get tired and fall asleep. Thats my awesome day, lol.

My Extra Day
If I had an extra day to do anything I wanted I would read my favorite books. I would read mystery,fantasy,fiction,non-fiction, and adventure books. I would want to read these books so I can get my AR points I need to finish for this 9 weeks. I also want to read dictionarys so I can understand some words I don’t know. Manicle teacher
Today my form teacher got so stressed out by some year 10′s who had moved his desk the tables the bookshelves and the books at lunch. A supply teacher took our register and told us he didnt think it was us then our form tutor got so stressed out as it took him 40 mins to reorganise the class.
The person next to me is called Karnel and I hate him although he does support liverpool.Ha way cardif fans you lost but lets face it you were never going to win against us. I was offered tickets on my fan card but as it was my dads bday i had to stick to bbc hd i recorded it as well but as it was in hd it took up 19 hours so i had to delete it and watch arsenal thrash tottenham. One of my other friends is called theo and the only thing he can do is shuffle cards.

How special ’29′ is!

A unforgetable Trip !
As Jose arrived to the Bahammas.He yelled out to the air ” I’m here, I’m here ! “Everyone looked at him and seemed as they didn’t care. Jose had a splendled time at the Bahammas. He rented a room in there hotel and went on rides! But jose felt trouble because he had no more money to pay for his food. Jose tried everythinq , so he could to stay there. He even tried to work in the hotel but they rejected him. And he had no choice but to go bact to New Jersey. Jose packed his bags and sneaked into the airport and landed back from where he came from!

Clontuskert NS
Hello!!! I am from Clontuskert National School in Ireland. We are a small school in the countryside. There are only 40 pupils in our school. There are 2 classrooms.
We are involved in many projects but my favourite is the First Lego League. This is a project about technology and food. Our project is about meat, meat production and preservation. We were looking at meat and we found out about nitrates. Nitrates are preservatives injected into meat to help it to stay fresh. But the problem comes when you cook the meat. The nitrates turn into nitrosium which can be harmful to you. We tried ringing shops to ask them to promote fruit and vegetables. Fruit and vegetables have polyphenols in them fight against illness.
But there is another side to it : technology. We had to build a robot and program the robot to do tasks. We had to go to Dublin for the Crest Science Awards after the FLL competition and we had explained our project to the judges. With the robot we had to do as many tasks as we could in three minutes. We came 21st, but we were one of only 4 primary schools in the competition. We hope to do more projects in the future. To see our other projects read our blog at www.clontuskert.scoilnet.ie.

Clontuskert National School
Hey!
Today is a great day here in Clontuskert and were all excited about it.
The 29th February is going to be a great day. Here in Clontuskert we are so busy with our own blog and all our projects, here are some of the projects we are doing : Peace Proms, Eircom Junior Spiders awards, Jr FLL, FLL, Keep on Track and Greenwave. So as you can see are very busy.
I also love Clontuskert. It’s great and I’m so excited about this blog. I really love art and I really enjoy it and I also always have good fun with my sister. My Dream Day

this year my family and i are going to abu dahbi and also going to new york ive never been to new yok before but i really want to. the good thing is that we get to stay for seven days instead of the usual three because we have relatives out there so we only have to pay for the flight and not the hotel. i really want to go to abu dhabi as it is very hot and especially because i am going with my cousins and we always go on holiday with them because they are really funny and the holiday wont feeel righ twithout them

My 2012
Right now i am in Newark,Nj. I go to the number one school in Newark. I am typing for this blog right now. I am in Reading/Writing. After this class I go to Math. Then I go to science, which is really fun somnetimes. We get to do work study then for the last five minutes we talk and etc. Then Social Studies and Gym. Then When I go home I will play PlayStation 3:Call of Duty Black OPs. Then I will use my ipod touch. Watch an amazing show called lost. Which is about people who crash on a deserted island and that island has mysterious and weird space/time problems. Then after I watch until I am content I go to sleep
