Leap Day Snow Day

I planned to have my students participate from school; however, we have a snow day here in Minnesota! I’m sitting on my couch enjoying a cup of coffee as I grade student journals. I hear the sound of snow blowers and plows clearing away the mess that is outside. The best sound, though, it the shouts and yells from the kids playing. We haven’t had any appreciable snow all winter. It’s kind of appropriate that we get the biggest snow of the season on February 29th!
