Spending the day setting up google apps for my school. The next generation of free online resources is superceding the need for an in-house VLE. My new digital leaders group will be testing email, sharing of documents and calenders and setting up sites and blogs over the next few weeks. I’m excited about the fact that the children and I will be finding out together and testing the possibilities together. This is definitely the model of how ICT should progress in schools. At times like this I love my job as a primary school ICT teacher. Hopefully the children who are digital leaders will also love their job and onpass their skills and enthusiasm benefitting everyone.
What I haven’t done yet is LEAP! Leaping will commence shortly!!!
