I have just had a fabulous maths lesson with a year 3 class about divisbility rules and we used what we discovered about identifying multiples of 4 to create a list of years to avoid if you were superstitious about getting married in a leap year. As if! The children were also fascinated by the idea that someone born on 29.02.80 is now 32 but only 8, the same age as themselves, in Leap Years.
