Okay where I am from basketball is a huge thing. We eat sleep and breathe basketball. Everyone is in love with it, even in our free-time we play basketball.

Good luck @ the tournament!
You sound very much like I was at your age.
Between 11 and 23, I played upto 3 hours a day and then extra for matches.
I was selected for the England team when I was 14 and played for them until I was 19.
Basketball in England was, and still is, a minority sport, but we were very lucky to have a fantastic physics teacher who had spent some time in the States and had enjoyed it while over there. He brought his passion back with him and he shared it with us.
We had about 30 very keen players and everyone played at school, town, county, inter area, or England squad level, but I was the only one to gain caps.
I gained 22 caps and played against Scotland, Ireland and Wales, France, Holland, Germany, Belgium and Finland.
I gained my first cap on 1st March in Wales ( on St David’s Day- thier patron saint day) in 1985, when I was 14.
Good luck with your ball playing.
Good luck this weekend!
