One of my year 11 boys celebrated his birthday today and we worked out that although he is 16, in fact he has only had 4 birth dates……that amused both him and his friends……we made him a I Am 4 Today badge just to help him celebrate…
At lunchtime some staff and students took a leap for leap year. All the jump lengths were added together and the house with the biggest total won the points.
My year 11 students wrote a letter to themselves that they will open in 4 years time and see if they achieved their goals…..a real eye opener for some of them and it certainly made them think about their aspirations.
Now I’m going to have a glass of wine and prepare myself for World Book Day tomorrow…..
