I am confused, there were no presents downstairs this morning, the postman did not bring me any birthday cards. There was no balloons, nobody said “happy birthday” to me, not even my mum. When i got to school nobody wished me a happy birthday, or gave me any cards. I felt very sad. Everyone had forgotten my birthday. I started to cry, one of my teachers came up to me and asked me “What’s the matter?”
“I am confused” i said, “it’s my birthday today and no-one has remembered.” My teacher smiled and said. “today is the 29th of February, your birthday is the first of March!”
