Having come across this project just now on Twitter, I decided to see how much I can actually write in exactly 29 secs. It is late, I am tired and am short on time but felt that I wanted to contribute to this blog and could definitely spare 29 secs to do so.
—Admissions: the above took just a smidgen of a second over the 29 seconds as I wanted to complete the last sentence! Also, I went back over it and made it legible as a considerable amount of words were linked by a number of ‘m’s as I typed this on my iPad and kept missing the spacebar. A final thing that I’d like to admit to is that it is 11:52 here in Shanghai and I am waiting until midnight, and of course, the 29th February 2012 to post this…it seems appropriate to do so.
Here is a great YouTube video (by epipheo) that I saw on @shamsensei’s Tumblr page: http://shamsensei.tumblr.com/post/18125560422/what-is-leap-year-by-epipheo-rt-tucksoon-edsg it explains the reasons by leap years in a fun and interesting way!
It’s now midnight and the 29th of Feb is here! Submit and good night.

So it is midnight in China now and thank you so much for staying up late to post this blog. I guess English is not your first language and you type in English so much faster than myself!
You did really well to type this in 29 seconds. I don’t know if I could do it.
a very interesting post, really enjoyed reading it. the task was well chosen and posted on the first moments of the 29th perfect.
WOW!
