Grüezi from Winterthur

I woke up too early today with my head feeling like it would explode. Lots of ‘gunk’ from my cold all built up in my sinuses. Lovely!
I’ve now taken my children to school and am about to make a cup of tea. This afternoon I have 3 1/2 hours of German lessons. I’m doing an intensive course which is very tiring. Normally I’m the language teacher not the learner, but my family moved to Switzerland in October and I need to learn German if I want to a)talk to people b)buy things c)get a job! It’s very interesting seeing the classroom from the other side! I’m usually a very diligent student but I feel asleep yesterday in class…
Until I go to my class (in about 4 hours time) I’m going to answer some emails from people who asked for my advice on iPad apps, try and find some new German apps to help with my learning, write some lesson plans to go with resources I’m helping to develop, and also finish my German homework. I must also go for a walk in the sunshine as it is a beautiful day. I would normally go for a run but my chest hurts and it’s not sensible to run when your cold is on your chest.
